ShadowCam, an instrument generously funded by NASA, is proudly hosted onboard the esteemed Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter (KPLO) satellite. Its incredible ability to capture high-resolution images of the Moon's enigmatic permanently shadowed regions (PSRs) will serve as a beacon of knowledge, shedding light on the distribution and accessibility of water ice and other valuable volatiles. With its impressive spatial scales, boasting a remarkable resolution of 1.7 meters per pixel, ShadowCam is poised to minimize risks and unlock the full potential of future exploration endeavors.
